Day by Day

Embark on a unique journey on a luxury Nile cruise and explore the magic of the Nile and its ancient temples. Your adventure begins in Aswan with a visit to the High Dam and Philae Temple, then sail to Kom Ombo and Edfu where you will discover the temples of the pharaohs. In Luxor, immerse yourself in the history of the East and West Banks, from the Karnak and Luxor temples to the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Enjoy special sightseeing tours, evening entertainment, and high-end services throughout the journey until your return to Cairo.

Day 1: Arrival in Aswan and Begin Nile Cruise

  • 6:00 AM: Meet at Cairo International Airport.
  • 8:00 AM: Flight departure from Cairo to Aswan.
  • 9:30 AM: Arrive at Aswan Airport and be greeted by a Sky Travel representative.
  • 10:30 AM: Transfer to the 5-star Nile cruise ship for check-in.
  • 1:00 PM: Lunch on board the cruise ship.
  • 3:00 PM: Start the tour in Aswan:

Visit High Dam, one of the greatest engineering projects.
Visit Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis.
Boat ride to Kitchener Island.

  • 7:00 PM: Dinner on board the cruise with entertainment (Nubian party or Oriental music).
    Overnight stay on the cruise in Aswan.

DAY 2: Optional Trip to Abu Simbel and Sail to Kom Ombo

  • 4:30 AM: (Optional) Depart from Aswan by air-conditioned car to Abu Simbel Temple (270 km – 3 hours by car).
  • 7:30 AM: Arrive at Abu Simbel Temples and explore the impressive temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari.
  • 10:00 AM: Return to Aswan.
  • 1:00 PM: Lunch on board the cruise and sail to Kom Ombo.
  • 4:00 PM: Arrive at Kom Ombo and visit Kom Ombo Temple dedicated to the gods Horus and Sobek.
  • 6:00 PM: Return to the cruise ship and enjoy sunset tea on deck while sailing to Edfu.
  • 8:00 PM: Dinner and entertainment on board.
  • Overnight stay on the cruise in Edfu.

DAY 3: Visit Edfu Temple and Sail to Luxor

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast on board the cruise.
  • 8:00 AM: Horse-drawn carriage ride to visit Edfu Temple, one of the best-preserved temples in ancient Egypt.
  • 10:00 AM: Return to the cruise ship and sail to Luxor.
  • 1:00 PM: Lunch on board while cruising.
  • 4:00 PM: Arrive in Luxor and start the sightseeing tour: 
    • Visit Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex in the world.
    • Visit Luxor Temple in the city center.
  • 7:00 PM: Dinner and entertainment on board the cruise.
  • Overnight stay on the cruise in Luxor.

DAY 4:West Bank Luxor Tour

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast on board the cruise.
  • 8:00 AM: West Bank Luxor tour, including: 
    • Valley of the Kings, home to royal tombs, including Tutankhamun's tomb.
    • Hatshepsut Temple, the temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
    • Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues guarding the entrance to Amenhotep III's temple.
  • 1:00 PM: Return to the cruise and have lunch.
  • Free evening to enjoy Luxor's local markets or relax on board.
  • 7:00 PM: Dinner and farewell celebration on board.

DAY 5: Departure from Luxor and Return to Cairo

  • 7:00 AM: Breakfast on board the cruise and check out.
  • 9:00 AM: Transfer to Luxor Airport.
  • 11:00 AM: Flight departure from Luxor to Cairo.
  • 12:30 PM: Arrive at Cairo Airport and conclude the tour.
